This forum is intended to
1. provide PG2 campaign players with a way of offering feedback to the campaign designers,
2. help designers know what kinds of things players want in a campaign,
and
3. help people learn about the various PG2 campaigns so they can determine which one(s) they want to play,
First you need to find the campaign you wish to review. You can find all the Panzer General 2 campaigns listed in the Index topic. In the Index you will find three types of index. The first index lists all the campaigns according to what country the player is. The second index is sorted alphabetically by campaign name. The third is sorted by the author's name and/or nickname.
Once you find a campaign you wish to review, you need to go to that campaign's thread (links are included in the index).
There are three ways you can give a review of a campaign you have played.
1.) Review using template (Questionnaire) -- copy+paste form as a reply and answer the questions by editing the template before posting it.
2.) Free-form Review -- just add a reply and write about the campaign.
3.) Rate the campaign -- give the campaign 5 "bullets" if you think it is a world-class campaign, one bullet if you didn't like it, or any number of bullets between 1 and 5.
1.) REVIEW USING TEMPLATE (QUESTIONNAIRE)
This is probably the simplest way to give the designer specific feedback and help other players learn about the campaign.
It will also probably provide the most information to the designer and other players.
The template (Questionnaire) can be found at the top of this forum. It is called Campaign Review Template (Questionnaire)
2.) FREE-FORM REVIEW
Just write a post describing your opinions about the campaign and post it as a reply under the appropriate topic for the campaign.
3.) RATE THE CAMPAIGN
Go to the thread which discusses the campaign you want to rate. You can give it from 1 (worst) to 5 (best) "bullets" by using the "Rate this Topic" menu at the bottom of the page.
All the votes which rate a campaign are averaged together to give the campaign a cumulative rating. This cumulative rating is displayed next to the campaign's name on the topics listing page of this forum.
4.) CAMPAIGN DESIGNER COMMENTS
Added by Steve Brown
If you are the designer of a campaign feel free to add comments about your campaign; you can give hint or tips or your campaign philosophy or reasons why someone should play your campaign --- or anything else you want to say. This forum is here for you...
