			<description><![CDATA[ in the osprey book for anti-tank guns the say the anti-tank 2 pounder mark IX was 50 calibres, yet in their Matilda book, they say the main armament was 2-pounder (40mm) Mark IX gun which was L/52 -52 calibres. Does anyone know what the actual length was? or was there indeed a difference between the anti-tank gun and the gun placed on the matilda tank? ]]></description>

All the books and online accounts have them used against US bombers and fighters and as a Jabo against the Western Allies.  What was the nature of Kozhedub's kill... was it part of a formation of 262's, a ferry flight, or a training flight?
